Ever since the remake of Dead Space fans have wanted more. It was a stellar overhaul of the original game that kept all the brilliance and polished it all to a high level.
All we want is more of Isaac and that iconic space armour, it’s not much to ask.
The latest installment in the Call of Duty franchise will land later this year on Xbox Game Pass

Well, Isaac is back, according to EA and he’s set to appear in Battlefield 2042. Probably feeling left out that all the other shooters have cameos from other characters and franchises, EA has decided to put Isaac into their competitive shooter.
According to EA themselves this is a “one-of-a-kind surprise collaboration: an iconic crossover with the sci-fi survival horror classic Dead Space!”
It’s not just Isaac’s signature armour that’s being added to the game, but Battlefield 2042 will have an exclusive event for one week called Outbreak.
“In Outbreak, squads are tested by their human resilience and resourcefulness against a new and relentless enemy all while trying to escape the Boreas laboratory.”

It sounds like a great addition to the game and will change up the usual formula found in EA’s shooter.
Players who take part in the free new mode will, of course, receive limited edition in-game content including a new weapon charm, a weapon skin, plus a player card background and tag.
You’ll also be able to buy a new bundle with the ‘Marked Man’ outfit and three legendary skins for 2200 BFC.
Is this the start of EA branching out and bringing their famous franchises to Battlefield 2042? Given that most live-service games are crossing over with the likes of Fallout and various other IPs, it wouldn’t be a surprise.

Hopefully, this is a sign to Dead Space fans that EA hasn’t forgotten us and perhaps we’ll see some movement on a new game or a remake of Dead Space 2.
