Daredevil: Born Again is "likely" to be Disney's first R-rated Marvel show, pleasing those who want to see an amplification of the original grittier, gnarlier themes of the Netflix series.
In She-Hulk: Attorney at Law, Charlie Cox plays a very different Daredevil to the one we're used to. "Where's his headspace at? What's going on? I don't think we really knew what was going to happen next," said the actor in an interview with Marvel. "When we were shooting it, I certainly didn't know about a new Daredevil show, I think [Marvel Studios] was figuring out what's the next right thing for this character."

Now that the cat is out of the bag with Daredevil: Born Again, Cox is doing MMA training again and has ideas to diversify the combat tactics that the character has in his arsenal. This, plus the news that the show might intensify the violence on screen, is heartening for fans who have been waiting for Daredevil to step back into the spotlight.
Industry insider Daniel Richtman - who has had an interesting record of leaks - said to a fan that the new Daredevil TV show is "likely" to get a TV-MA rating. Another fan asked if Echo, Blade, Agatha: Coven of Chaos or Thunderbolts will also be a no-holds-barred thrill and spill ride and the answer was negative.

While Daredevil: Born Again wouldn't be the only R-rated show in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, it will imaginably be the first to arrive on Disney+. The show is expected to release in early 2024 and Marvel Zombies is targeting a generalised window of 2024.
