There is no denying that Cyberpunk 2077 already has pretty photorealistic graphics considering it was first released for the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.
However, according to a recent discovery, the highly-anticipated Cyberpunk 2077 sequel may just push the boundaries when it comes to photorealism.
Check out the trailer for Cyberpunk 2077: Phantom Liberty below!
It may be a few years until we see Cyberpunk 2, currently codenamed Project Orion, but that doesn’t mean that fans aren’t eager to see which direction CD Projekt Red are going to take.

With the first entry having somewhat of a final ending, it will be interesting to see where the story goes and who our main character will be.
However, this is all information that we won’t be receiving any time soon. For now, a job listing has surfaced which could give us some insight into at least one element of the sequel.
In recent days, CD Projekt Red has posted a job listing looking for a Senior Environment Artist.
More specifically, the listing states that the candidate will be responsible for “high-quality” and “photorealistic textures” for Project Orion.

This would also make sense considering CD Projekt Red had previously revealed that it wanted to work on a more “cinematic” feel for the sequel.
As a result, we could see some more in-game cinematics and an even more detailed Night City if that is where Cyberpunk 2 is set.
With the 2020 title already being pretty photorealistic, we can only imagine how detailed it will look when it is released, especially if it is released for next-gen consoles.
That is why we should probably start saving for a new console or graphics driver for our PCs right now.

Until then, we have The Witcher 4 to look forward to so it is an exciting few years for fans of CD Projekt Red’s most successful RPGs.
