It turns out that CD Projekt Red developers were not lying when they said Cyberpunk 2077 still had a lot of features that had gone unnoticed by fans.
From familiar faces to secrets at the bottom of the ocean, Cyberpunk 2077 is still putting other open-world RPGs to shame by hiding Easter eggs and secrets in places you would least expect. Now 4 years on from release, players are still uncovering these features and it shows no signs of slowing down anytime soon.

One such feature relates to the rollercoaster found in the Pacifica district which one player, despite having racked up 700 hours of gameplay, only just discovered can be accessed at any time.

Despite having a brief role in Cyberpunk 2077’s story, the rollercoaster is still easily missed due to its location and the fact that it is not marked on the map.
Additionally, players have to repair the structure’s controls before they can ride it which also has a side quest attached to it. However, these are easily missed unless you happen to find yourself in that area.
Posted to r/cyberpunkgame, the player said: “After 700 hours I found out that you actually can ride the thing…” and other fans were quick to offer anecdotes about their own experience with the coaster.
One said: “In my last playthrough, I did the roller-coaster right after Johnny brought me to the abandoned hotel in Pacifica and gave me the dog tags. It felt like we had agreed to spend the rest of the day forgetting our problems and living a little bit. It was nice.”

Others shared screenshots taken from the top of the ride as well as lamenting over how bittersweet the accompanying side quest was.
“This rollercoaster ride and the Blistering Love quest with Rogue are two things I didn’t expect that would tug at my heartstrings,” one comment read.
This is just one of many hidden features found within Cyberpunk 2077’s Night City and I, for one, can’t wait to see what is discovered next.
