Back in March, CD Projekt Red revealed that the next installment of The Witcher saga was officially in development. We know practically nothing about the project except that it’s reportedly not The Witcher 4, so whether it’ll be a reboot or centre on a different character, we don’t yet know. The truth is though, fans are desperate for a fourth entry in the franchise and so one has taken it upon themselves to imagine what The Witcher 4 might look like.
You know who does need a game? Ciri. Check out why below.
YouTuber TeaserPlay has released a stunning concept trailer showing what The Witcher 4 could look like if the game was made in Unreal Engine 5. The trailer features a number of Witcher-inspired environments, plus a Geralt 3D model.
Describing the project, the creator wrote, “In this video, we are going to imagine The Witcher 4 [..] We tried to use all the power and features of Unreal Engine 5 to recreate this, such as Lumen, Nanite, Ray Tracing and Metahuman.”

Fans flocked to the comments to share their thoughts. Piotr M wrote, “The environment looks insane,” with SzymChud adding, “If fan-made can look that good, I have high hopes for the next official product.” Samuel Velasco said, “Gave me the chills,” whilst BigClout Music was so impressed that they thought “this was real” and created by CD Projekt. They’re right. This does look very good indeed.
