In case you missed it, CD Projekt Red dropped a lovely video detailing the work that went into their trailer for The Witcher 4, which debuted last year.
In it, the team goes into their design decisions and shows, in more detail, the characters we got a glimpse of previously, and fans are incredibly excited about this extra look at The Witcher 4.
The stunning reveal for The Witcher 4 is a gorgeous look at Ciri and her new adventures
Perhaps my favourite comment underneath the new video is this one, from the_netrunner who takes certain fans to task, saying, “To the people who were saying Ciri looks ugly, please pause at 2:11 and look at the model. That is most likely an in-engine model with tons of film grain, but does that look ugly to you? It is just a grown up, more gritty version of the original Ciri.”

Thankfully, there’s a huge amount of enthusiasm for Ciri and her potential adventures awaiting us.
“Perfect representation of a slightly older Ciri. I'm well happy! She looks fantastic,” notes ArcticVXR1.
Fans of the franchise have been eagerly waiting for the next game from CD Projekt Red, and it’s clear the studio has been cooking.
Everything from the tone of the trailer to the character models is sublime, and now we’re all eager to see more.

One fan comments, “So excited. I’m really glad the studio has seemingly retained its knowledge and respect for the source material. This gets me even more excited as a big fan of both games and books.”
Another fan can’t help but exclaim their excitement, noting, “Am I the only one looking forward to The Witcher IV more than GTA VI?”
Nope, you’re not alone YouTube commenter, I’m sure there are millions who are desperate to play the new release.
Hopefully, we won’t have to wait much longer for a second trailer, and perhaps some gameplay footage.
