The next Call Of Duty Black Ops game is apparently teasing Saddam Hussein as the main antagonist, which could get a little controversial.
Later this year, specifically next month, Activision-Blizzard will officially unveil the next Call Of Duty game following the upcoming Xbox showcase.
You can check out the teaser trailer for Call Of Duty: Black Ops 6 below
If that title is confusing you, it’s likely due to the previous Black Ops game, Call Of Duty: Black Ops Cold War, technically being the fifth game in the series, it just wasn’t numbered in the same way the previous four games were.

However the upcoming sixth game will follow its predecessor's example of being set in the past, this time taking the series to the Gulf War.
We see as much in the teaser trailer, and just like the real-life conflict it’s starting to look like Saddam Hussein will be our target in the campaign.
Similarities between one of the in-game characters and the real-life character have been drawn by fans, and given how previous Call Of Duty games haven’t shied away from using real people it’d make sense for him to appear.

Of course for the time being it’s pure speculation, but we’re bound to know for sure when the big reveal takes place during next month’s showcase event.
The next Call Of Duty game is being developed by Treyarch, and has reportedly been in development much longer than the previous titles, so fans have high hopes it’ll be a good one.
Many have also begun speculating what the multiplayer and zombies mode will be like, but don’t get your hopes up to see them shown off during the official reveal, as if previous entries are to be used as reference they’re usually shown off separately.
Call Of Duty: Black Ops 6 will launch sometime towards the end of the year, probably November, and will launch for Xbox Series X/S, PlayStation 5 and PC, presumably skipping last-gen consoles.
