It seems that Battlefield 6 campaign footage has appeared online, via a leaked data mine of the game’s closed beta testing.
Battlefield 6 has been in closed beta testing since March earlier this year, where a small group of players have been able to test out the game’s various systems and modes.
Considering the lukewarm reviews to the last few Battlefield games, it’s clear that EA wants to ensure this one is able to find a more positive reception with the community.

Now, it appears that campaign footage from Battlefield 6 has cropped up online.
As posted on X (formerly Twitter), Battlefield data miner Temporyal posted a short clip of what appears to be campaign gameplay from Battlefield 6.

“Here's a short clip from the Battlefield 6 singleplayer campaign in the latest BF Labs update,” they write. “This work-in-progress footage shows the explosive finale of a mission to destroy a dam in Tajikistan.”
It’s worth noting that this isn’t live gameplay footage that was captured during the test, but a video file that was found while data mining the beta.
Since it’s also beta footage, a lot of elements in the clip are still unfinished. Animations are work-in-progress, textures are placeholder, and it’s clear that it will not look like this in the final game.
So, be sure to take the footage with a pinch of salt. It'll obviously look a lot more finished in the final product.

According to Temporyal, the campaign will have “a prologue and eight missions” to play across various locales, including “Egypt, Tajikistan, the USA, and Gibraltar”. While that might sound pretty short, it ultimately depends on how large and expansive these levels are.
Four internal EA studios are working on Battlefield 6, each one focused on a different experience. Dice is developing the multiplayer, while Burnout and Need for Speed developer Criterion works on single-player.
Dead Space remake developer Motive Studio is developing both multiplayer and single-player content for the game, while Ripple Effect is creating a brand new experience for the series.
