Another day, another huge update for Baldur’s Gate 3. One thing Larian Studios has done very well is to keep the updates and patches coming which are fixing things from broken save files to the horniness of the characters.
The updates are improving the quality of life for the game and making the overall experience even better. It's hard to imagine a game that nears perfection can get even better, but it’s a testament to the hard work of Larian Studios. The latest update is here and its primary focus is to help players locate trinkets.
Constant updates are making a brilliant game even better
As with many of Larian’s posts on the updates, they’ve started with a question for the community along with their solution, “Did you accidentally send Minthara’s lute to your camp supplies, thinking nobody could possibly need a lute in this day and age? In this hotfix, you will now be able to access certain quest-related items on the spot - even if they’re not held by your current party! How’s that for magic pockets?”

This is going to be a massive help. The game features so many items of importance and they’re easily lost when swapping characters in and out of your party. This is just one of the many updates in this patch. Also included are new categories for waypoints, allowing you to group them; adding items to the epilogue scene; fixing the ‘hide helmet’ option; improving the textures which would degrade after long play sessions; and of course, there are plenty of bug fixes and patching of glitches.
Xbox players are still waiting on a fix to stop them from losing their save files, but this is currently in the pipeline and should be here within the week. If you’ve noticed any other issues with the game it’s genuinely worth tagging Larian as they’re constantly changing the smallest details to make Baldur’s Gate 3 the best it can be.
