It’s been a minute since Ubisoft has revealed anything about Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora. After it was first shown off during E3 2021, it was given a July 2022 release window. Obviously, it didn’t manage to hit that.
The open-world action-adventure is now set to release at some point during the 2023–2024 fiscal year, which means it could be coming out - in theory - any time between April this year and March 2024. You may have noticed that it’s April in just four days’ time, so it’s much more likely to be releasing at the latter end of that timescale.
Take a look at the trailer for Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora below.
While Ubisoft is yet to release any gameplay footage of Frontiers of Pandora, as TheGamer reports, it sounds like a full reveal could be coming soon. A leaker on Twitter has begun sharing previously unseen screenshots from the game - one taken from a first-person perspective shows the player character facing off against an AMP suit with a gun, while another shows a Na’vi riding on a banshee through a forested area.

The leaker also shared an alleged preorder poster for the game - if it’s real, it seems that those who preorder will get a bonus called “The Child of Two Worlds Pack”. On the poster, a cosmetic set and weapon skin are labelled, but it’s not clear if these are the items included in the pack or if they’re separate bonuses.
At the time of writing, none of this has been officially confirmed, so take it with a pinch of salt. However, this same leaker previously revealed artwork for Assassin’s Creed Mirage early, and they also claim that they’ll begin posting gameplay footage of Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora “soon”. If they follow through with that promise, it’ll become much more clear if the screenshots are the real deal or not.
For now, sit tight - hopefully, Ubisoft might be preparing an official reveal soon, too.
