Star Wars has resurrected two Jedi that were thought to be long-dead after Order 66, seriously screwing up the canon.
Star Wars Revenge of the Sith and its Order 66 scene is one of the most harrowing developments in cinematic history in my opinion, knowing so many Jedi were slayed simultaneously and without any warning.
The whole film in general is just beautifully done, one of the best in the franchise for sure
That said, the latest issue of Star Wars: Doctor Aphra has thrown a bit of a spanner in the works by bringing back two Jedi that presumably died during the purge, one of which you actually see get blasted in the film.

In Star Wars: Doctor Aphra #32 the good doctor and Luke Skywalker are exploring an old temple, and who do they find within the ruins? None other than Shaak Ti & Aayla Secura.
Now Aayla Secura is the one who we see get shot in Star Wars: Revenge Of The Sith, whereas Shaak Ti’s fate is a little more complicated.
While it’s not shown on screen it’s said Shaak Ti perished during the events of the film at the hands of Anakin Skywalker during his march on the Jedi Temple, and while it’s not canon Starkiller takes her down in a level of Star Wars: Force Unleashed.
Yet, somehow, both of these characters have returned, but fortunately it’s just a comic series which is easily overwritten and probably not canon anyway.

It seems like a growing trend in Star Wars nowadays that if a new story idea is needed, just pluck a Jedi from Order 66 and say “see, they’re fine.”
If they’re going to bring any Jedi back from the supposed grave though, when is Mace Windu getting his turn? He’s one of the few Jedi that actually makes sense to have survived.
