Assassin’s Creed Mirage’s latest update has arrived and it includes one outfit that may be familiar to long-time fans of the franchise.
What a nice way to round off what’s been a pretty good year for Assassin’s Creed. Both Mirage and Assassin’s Creed Nexus released to positive reviews, with Mirage taking the franchise back to its stealth-based roots. That doesn’t mean it’s the end of the road for the RPG entries. Next year’s Codename Red is set to be the final entry in the RPG saga, taking us to Feudal Japan. Assassin’s Creed Mirage may not have picked up any accolades at this year’s The Game Awards but it’s been a tough year for competition. It did undoubtedly win over fans though and now, to end the year on a high, devs have released one final stellar update.
Take a look at Assassin’s Creed Mirage in action below.
Update Version 1.0.6 has arrived and is available to download now. The main pull of the update is that it finally introduces New Game Plus but as a fun nod to the franchise’s past, you can also now don Bayek’s Medjay outfit from Assassin’s Creed Origins.

Let’s talk New Game Plus first. Unsurprisingly, this will allow you to begin a new story save whilst keeping your collected skills and gear. You can do some from the main menu screen, plus you have the option to skip the prologue, landing you straight in Baghdad. This leads me nicely on to my next point. If you do start a New Game Plus run, you’ll automatically unlock Bayek’s Assassin’s Creed Origins Medjay outfit. As you progress in your new playthrough, you’ll also unlock new dyes for the outfit.
Parkour has been increased “allowing Basim to reach heights faster and cross bigger distances” plus a number of bugs, animations, and audio issues have been rectified. Additional quality of life improvements include guards reacting when Basim rips wanted posters, guards closer to alarms will now ring the bell first, and enemies will no longer investigate burning bodies while players are using the Fire Demon outfit perk. There are plenty of other fixes and you can read the full patch notes which are available now.
