Hogwarts Legacy is out this week for PC, PS5 and Xbox Series X|S, and this action RPG could be the perfect multiplayer game.
The school of Hogwarts is a big place and so too are its surrounding areas. It’s full of budding students looking to make their way in the Wizarding World. So naturally, Hogwarts Legacy would in turn be a budding multiplayer game to play with friends.
So, does Hogwarts Legacy have multiplayer?

Sadly, Hogwarts Legacy does not have multiplayer. What’s more, despite featuring Flying brooms, the popular Quidditch sport isn't playable in-game, let alone being able to play with friends. Furthermore, the developers of Avalance Software has always maintained that Hogwarts Legacy has had a single player focus.
However, that’s not to say that playing Hogwarts Legacy with friends is totally out of the question. Well, at least with the NPC variety. While the game is a single player title, Hogwarts Legacy allows you to form bonds with NPCs and in turn, they can join you on quests.
“As players grow these relationships, these schoolmates will become companions who can accompany players on their journey, expand their abilities and open up as players learn their stories,” reads the official Hogwarts Legacy FAQ.
