Unless you live under a rock, you will be well aware that the Wizarding World is mostly about spells and magic, and Hogwarts Legacy is no exception.
In the world of Harry Potter, there are said to be around 80 spells (give or take). However, the amount of spells a wizard or witch could learn is practically limitless.
There’s a lot to learn in Hogwarts Legacy

That being said, according to GamesRadar, the number of spells in Hogwarts Legacy is trimmed down to a much more linear 26. That’s assuming of course, that further spells are not added to the game via future DLC. Oh, and three of the current 26 spells are the dastardly Unforgivable Curses.
The spells of Hogwarts Legacy will be unlocked via story progression, exploration, defeating enemies and by attending Potion classes. Spells can be upgraded and you will often use different spells dependent on the situation at hand.
Initially, you’ll only be able to equip four spells, to begin with. However, as you progress and level up your abilities in Hogwarts Legacy, you will eventually be able to equip 16 different spells. In order to equip more spells than the initial four, you will need to acquire new spell diamonds.
