Since it was first released in February last year, the success of Hogwarts Legacy has been pretty much eye-watering. After all, you don't hold the record for the most viewed single player game on Twitch for nothing.
If you've still not given the much-hyped game a go, now's your chance - thanks to a huge Black Friday deal on Amazon, bringing its price for PS5 down from £39.99 down to £29.99. There are discounts across the board - PS4 and Xbox One players can nab it for £19.99, and it's £29.99 for anyone with an Xbox Series X.

This is an Amazon exclusive, so don't expect to see this kind of deal anywhere else. It includes all the fun of this Harry Potter-inspired open-world RPG game, meaning you can explore the halls of Hogwarts, customise your own potions, interact with magical beasts and, of course, cast spells.
It's set in the late 1800s - around 100 years before Harry Potter heads to Hogwarts - and you can customise your character, who is a fifth year student heading to Hogwarts. Of course, there's never a quiet moment at Hogwarts - and you'll have to battle goblins, take on trolls and ride a hippogriff.
The game has an average of 4.7 stars on Amazon from nearly 3,000 reviews, with one shopper writing: "As a lifelong Harry Potter fan, I was eagerly anticipating the release of Hogwarts Legacy, and it did not disappoint! This game is a stunning journey into the Wizarding World that has left me completely enchanted."
Another gamer said they were "addicted" to Hogwarts Legacy, writing: "Played more than 40 hours on this already. Really good fun exploring the map and finding all hidden surprises." While a third added: "Love this game! I’m a horizon, uncharted kind of a game player and I love this game. Had it for about a month and I still love it. The character creation in great, the detail is amazing. The combat was strange for me to begin with but I got used to it and now enjoy it. The puzzles are enjoyable and lots of them."

However, some gamers had a few more critical notes to share. One wrote: "Yes, there are some elements that feel repetitive after a while but that is expected when you’re north of 30 hours into a game." While another said: "The castle and world seems to be very sparsely populated, I would have liked more of a hustle and bustle feel to the game."
There are plenty of Black Friday deals available on other games - for example, you can get Cyberpunk 2077 Ultimate Edition for PS5 for £28.99 at Currys, down from £38.99. Otherwise, Argos has a deal on the Ghost of Tsushima: Director's Cut PS5 Game, reducing it from £59.99 down to £29.89.
But with a sequel for Hogwarts Legacy in the works, you'll want to hop on the first game now.
