Whether you’re working from home or a competitive PC gamer, it can be important to have the right tools for the job such as a quality mouse (no, not the rodent). If you doubt that, just try using any wired mouse from the 1990s.
As the years progressed, video games became more advanced and naturally so did the tools for the job, in particular, the need for a high-quality gaming mouse. Enter, the M75 Lightweight Wireless Gaming Mouse from Corsair and this particular model is a treat for Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 fans.
Check out the M75 Wireless Gaming Mouse trailer below!
The M75 - Black Ops 6 Edition is an instant visual delight for any fan of the ever-popular military shooter from Activision with its signature black and orange colour scheme but also with its instantly recognisable logo.

It has a slim ambidextrous design that fits naturally in the palm of my hands but also weighs just 89g. So it will not only take up little space on your desktop, but its lightweight design is barely noticeable and as a result, it feels super responsive and precise.
Speaking of precise, the M75 has 26,000 DPI (Dots per Inch) that tracks movement speeds up to 650 IPS (Inches per Second) and the frequency of data being sent to the mouse is up to a polling rate of 1,000Hz. In other words, you can expect pro gaming responsiveness and precision with this mouse.
What’s more, you can not only remap all its buttons using the free iCUE app, but you can also customise the RPG light colours and patterns to give it a personal touch.

As you would expect from a gaming mouse, each of the buttons on the M75 has an instant click, which can make the difference when firing down the scope in shooters like Call of Duty and Fortnite. This mouse-click function is so beneficial, that it’s crossed over into pro controllers such as SCUF, a member of the Corsair family.
There is a feature of the M75 that lefties will appreciate and that’s the swappable magnetic side buttons. Not only can you swap the raised and smooth buttons provided in the box, but the M75 has parallel buttons on each side of the mouse, catering for both right-handed and left-handed gamers. You can even choose to have each of the four side buttons activated or just the one, it’s up to you.
In terms of battery life, much like the K65 Plus keyboard, the M75 is an absolute banger. On a full charge, Corsair claims that it can last between 95 hours and 105 hours with the RGB lights activated and up to 210 hours with them off. I’ve not got an exact count, but at the time of writing, I’ve been using this mouse for more than two working weeks (and counting), and it’s still going strong with no recharge required.

You can connect the M75 wirelessly either via the dongle provided in the box with its “ultra-fast Slipstream” software that claims to provide zero lag with a relay input said to be twice as fast as the nearest competitor or you can use Bluetooth. Both options work exceptionally well and I’ve not noticed lag with either. You can also use the mouse wired with the cable provided while it’s charging.
Corsair also sent me the Black Ops 6-themed MM300 2XL Gaming Mouse Mat to review. This mat has dimensions of 930mm x 400mm (36.6 x 15.75 inches). Combined with the K65 Plus Wireless Mechanical Gaming Keyboard - Black Ops 6 Edition, your desk set-up will be befitting for any Call of Duty fan. The mat which should work great with any mouse will have you gliding effortlessly across its smooth 4mm-thick rubber texture.
This is the best mouse I’ve ever used to date in terms of performance and battery life, and as a Call of Duty fan, I love the design of the Black Ops 6 Edition. With an RRP of £129.99, the M75 Wireless Gaming Mouse represents good value for money that won't leave you feeling short-changed should you decide to make the purchase.
