This cozy indie title is not one to miss this year

Fans of The Legend of Zelda and a good cosy game in general should check out this upcoming fantasy adventure game guaranteed to give you the best of both worlds.

Set to release on 21 August, Mika and The Witch’s Mountain developed by Chibig tells the story of an aspiring witch who delivers packages to the villagers of a small island with the help of her trusty broom.

Check out the upcoming The Legend of Zelda: Echoes of Wisdom below!

Inspired by the seamless navigation and exploration of titles such as The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild, Mika and The Witch’s Mountain is a “coming-of-age journey will take us to the top of the mountain through a story of effort, friendship, and community; and will let our hearts fly free” according to the official synopsis.

Players will get to explore a vast mountain on a broomstick, discover its hidden secrets and get to know its charming inhabitants. Not only that but through sheer hard work and effort, you will be able to upgrade your broom and climb higher until you finally reach the peak.

Earning money comes from your delivery service and the higher your rating, the more money you will get to purchase broom upgrades and more flying capabilities. The broom will allow you to explore a mini-open world full of magic and secrets but be careful, the elements are out to destroy those precious packages.

With outfits, trails and treasures to collect and a cosy light-hearted story to enjoy, Mika and The Witch’s Mountain is an indie title you don’t want to miss out on this year.

Additionally, if you are unsure if you want to invest in this adventure game, you can now download its free demo courtesy of Steam so you can get a taste of it before August. Happy flying!
