WASD is a brand-new gaming event held in London from April 7-9 this year. Based at Tobacco Dock in Wapping - easily reached via both overground train lines and the DLR - the event offers attendees the chance to go hands-on with a wealth of new games from some of the best studios around. What’s more, GAMINGbible is a media partner for WASD in 2022, so you can expect us to be there in some capacity, chatting and playing and quite possibly filming, too.
WASD is largely focussed on amazing new and forthcoming indie games, and a wealth of well-known publishers and developers will be showing off their latest experiences across the three days. SEGA will be showing off its new Two Point Campus, allowing attendees to get creative with how to run a university. WASD will be the first place anyone in the consumer space can go hands-on with the successor to the incredibly popular Two Point Hospital, and SEGA will also be showing off Football Manager 2022 and Humankind.
Two Point Campus - check out its latest trailer below - releases in May 2022, and you can play it over a month before release at WASD
Elsewhere, the never-dull Devolver will be showcasing Shadow Warrior 3, Death’s Door (our review), Cult of the Lamb and Trek to Yomi in their first-ever consumer hands-ons, and Inscryption (our review); Toge Production’s much-anticipated Coffee Talk Episode 2: Hibiscus & Butterfly will be playable (check out our coverage of the brilliant original game); and Team17 will be letting players test their mettle on the challenging Thymesia, which will have Dark Souls fans flocking to it. The very same publisher is also exhibiting the freshly revealed Ship of Fools, a co-op roguelike that’ll be enjoying its first hands-on in the world at WASD.

Other very attractive and intriguing games on show include Oaken, Grapple Dog, Die By the Blade, Post Void and The Unliving - check out the full list of confirmed games right here.
As well as playable video games from developers you know and teams you’re seeing for the first time (such is the beauty of this sort of event - the discovery potential is boundless), WASD also offers punters a wealth of board games to sit down with and dig into; several fascinating panels to plop yourself in front of and participate in by asking a question or two; and sweep up a load of cool, exclusive merch at the end of the day. You can find a guide to what’s on, over here.
And what does all of this cost, we hear you ask? Prices for WASD start at £22 for a single day pass, with the full three days costing £45 - very reasonable indeed. There is a 20% student discount available; a Super Pass that gets you some nice merch as a bonus; and also a special aftershow event to check out, which promises a live RPG meets Jenga experience, for the bargain sum of £7. Find all these ticket options, on this page here.

Please note that this doesn’t cover industry passes or tickets to the evening event, and this special GAMINGbible discount is only good for the first 50 purchases - so don’t delay, get on it today.
