Call Of Duty: Warzone 2.0 has finally launched, offering players around the world a brand-new battle royale experience to really sink their teeth into over the next few months.
The sequel to Call Of Duty: Warzone comes with a brand-new map, a number of improved features, and some seriously impressive new ideas that look set to really help the game stand apart from its predecessor.
Among these changes, Call Of Duty: Warzone 2.0 finally gives console players the ability to change their field of view options via an FOV slider.

FOV sliders are a very common option on PC, but it's rare that you see it on console. Being able to change the field of view can mean that players can see more of the game, giving them a distinct advantage in a first-person shooter like Warzone.
As you can imagine, console players often complain about playing against PC players who can expand their field of view, arguing that because they can see potential enemies and threats a console player can't, it's not exactly fair. There has been pretty compelling evidence to support this argument over the years, too.
The good news is that console players can no longer blame the lack of an FOV slider on losing to PC gamers, as it's now entirely possible for PlayStation and Xbox players to tweak the same settings in Warzone 2.0.
This will be an especially welcome change for console players who want to embrace cross-platform play and smash through Warzone 2.0 with their mates on PC. The only question now is what the particularly sore losers will try to pin their failures on now that there's an undeniably more even playing field. I suppose hackers aren't going away anytime soon.
