It’s well known that George Lucas once found it pretty difficult to leave Star Wars’ original trilogy alone.
When the prequel trilogy came along, Lucas went back to faff about with the original three films.
This is where the ‘Who shot first?’ nonsense originated after Lucas made a subtle change to the Han Solo and Greedo scene.

Lucas also, for example, replaced Sebastian Shaw as the force ghost version of Vader with Hayden Christensen.
It wasn’t the only quiet recast that took place though.
Did you know Boba Fett’s original actor was also replaced?
When you think of Boba Fett, I’m imagining that Temuera Morrison springs to mind.

The actor brought the character to life in the prequel trilogy, as well as The Mandalorian and The Book of Boba Fett.
In the original film trilogy though, the character was voiced by Jason Wingreen.
ICYMI: Andor returns next month for its second and final season.
When George Lucas revisited those OG Star Wars films, Morrison’s voice was added in to replace Wingreen’s.

It’s a great shame for Wingreen, but fans agree that Morrison is perfect in the role.
“He’s perfect and really can’t see anyone else as Boba Fett. Especially carrying that powerful Māori energy. Which honestly fits the character even more as the most dangerous bounty hunter in the galaxy,” wrote Reddit user HumbleKnight14.
“I love Temuera as a Boba. I think he is fantastic as both Fetts. Loved the physicality he brought to the role in Mando season two. And even though BoBF could have had a better script, dude was giving it his all,” added The_Pug.
“I appreciate Tem's voice more, more in line with the clone voice,” wrote Cool-Ad-8804.

If you can, I do recommend you go watch the original versions of A New Hope, The Empire Strikes Back, and Return of the Jedi.
It’s interesting to see Lucas' original vision.
