During a time where video game adaptations are all the rage, there is one hit title that many fans would like to see join the trend and they may just have found the perfect cast.
The Last of Us, Fallout, Arcane ... these are just some of the many video game adaptations that have not only received the adaptation treatment, going on to become extremely successful in their own right.
Do you think we will see a Red Dead 2 adaptation? In the meantime, check out its trailer below!
Making a beloved video game into a television show or movie is no easy feat and there are many examples of it going terribly wrong.

However, with screenwriters seemingly getting the knack for it in recent years, it is no wonder that gamers are calling out for some more of their favourite titles to be adapted for the big screen.
One of which is Red Dead Redemption 2.
Cementing itself as a modern-day classic, the 2018 Rockstar title is not yet to receive the live-action treatment but if it did, fans are uniting over this cast list.
Posted to r/RDR2 by Far-Permission-9005, the cast list is pretty extensive with no character left behind, but some notable mentions are Brandon Sklenar as Arthur Morgan, Taylor Kitsch as John Marston, Jeffrey Dean Morgan as Dutch and Willem Dafoe as Hosea.

They would also like to see Diego Luna as Javier, Lauren Cohan as Abigail Marston, Letitia Wright as Tilly, Katheryn Winnick as Sadie Adler and Helena Bonham Carter as Miss Grimshaw.
Despite only being uploaded one day ago, the post has already garnered a lot of attention and has over 500 comments.
“Willem Dafoe as Hosea is the most accurate thing I will see today,” user FK2500 said.
User alecpiper had some reservations about the main role.

“My one problem with this is your choice for Arthur, he’s just way too young compared to the other picks you made,” they said.
"I mean he’s about the same age as your choice for Lenny, despite Arthur being twice as old as Lenny is in the game.”
Of course, this is all just speculation and we may never get a Red Dead Redemption 2 adaptation but if we did, it is safe to say that its fans will be eyeing its casting with quite a lot of scrutiny.
