Marvel fans have been treated to a potentially official look at the upcoming Avengers: Doomsday film, coming next year.
The next Avengers crossover is arguably going to be the biggest one yet, not only because it’ll finally introduce Doctor Doom to the Marvel Cinematic Universe, but for all the new multiverse variants it could include at the same time.
Back on street-level though, Daredevil: Born Again premieres on Disney+ this week!
Leaked concept art has given us a tiny glimpse into what Avengers: Doomsday might have going on, including Doom reigning as a sovereign, Star-Lord tutoring the Young Avengers, and a new Black Panther.

The art showed a version of Black Panther we haven’t seen before in Wakanda, adding further credibility to the rumour a new T’Challa will be introduced following the passing of Chadwick Boseman.
At the time of writing though this is just concept art, meaning it could be very far from what the actual film will be like.
That said it feels like at least some of these ideas will be used in the upcoming film, or maybe saved for Avengers: Secret Wars which will come afterwards.
It’s unclear how this multiversal war will kick-off but many fans are speculating it’ll start in Fantastic Four: First Steps, as the trailer hinted at Reed Richards potentially inventing multiversal travel.

Filming for Avengers: Doomsday is starting later this year, with the film scheduled to release on 1 May 2026, though this could of course be pushed back if needed.
I’m sure something many fans will be excited for is a comic-accurate Doctor Doom, one who actually rules over Latveria and has a mixture of technology and magic in his arsenal.
Judging from the concept art though it’s looking more and more likely that that’ll be the case when he makes his MCU debut.
