MCU fans roast our new Blade's bizarre debut

MCU fans roast our new Blade's bizarre debut

Always trying to ice-skate uphill backwards

Fans love a roast, especially when it’s about the MCU’s shoddy planning.

Marvel fans have moved on from disappointment to old fashioned barbed humour to see them through this troubling time.

With another MCU series added to the pyre, Marvel fans need something to ease their heartbreak.

We pray Marvel delivers on these latest projects teased below

To do that they intend to roast Marvel for its poor decisions, starting with our bizarre introduction to the new Blade.

Remember the post-credit scene of Eternals and how it teased Blade’s upcoming return?

Well, that’s aged like milk.

Three years later, we’re no closer to getting that Blade reboot. Hell, we’re not even sure the project will ever happen.

Basically, this MCU Blade debut has been a mess since day one.

“This off-screen voice cameo at the end of Eternals is now officially Mahershala Ali's one and only appearance as Blade, probably forever,” user @jeremylovesyall reminded us.

As if that wasn’t already distressing enough, someone else added, “Last appearance of Blade, Kit Harrington as Black Knight, and probably the Eternals too.”

The punches just keep on coming.

“MCU post-credits used to be seeing Thor’s hammer [...] since Phase 4 it’s been ‘here’s an A-list celebrity showing up as a character you need to look up. Maybe you’ll see them again at some point in the future maybe’,” joked @GreatCheshire.

Not even a surprise appearance from Blade in a new trailer has fans excited.

“This is how f**ked up things have gone at Marvel cause by Zombies we should have seen Blade and met his character... Now our first appearances are of a faceless voice in Eternals and animated in Zombies,” posted @LewisJohnY2.

Even if you live by the mantra that there’s only one Blade, that still doesn’t make this bizarre debut any easier to deal with.

We’ve been robbed.
