After the worldwide success of Deadpool & Wolverine this summer, talk has already turned to the future of Hugh Jackman’s Wolverine.
Breaking box office records, Deadpool & Wolverine dominated cinemas back in July as we saw Jackman team up with Ryan Reynolds for the star-studded Marvel movie.

The R-rated movie marked the third instalment of the Deadpool franchise as well as Marvel’s introduction to Jackman’s Wolverine following his death during 2017’s Logan.

However, with the Multiverse doing its thing, no hero ever really stays dead these days and with Wolverine back in action, fans are eager for more.
Luckily, it appears as though that will be the case according to a recent comment by Kevin Feige at D23 Brazil.
In an interview with Omelete, Feige was asked about the roles of Deadpool and Wolverine in future MCU projects.
"The plans with Deadpool and Wolverine will always be the same. We're always wondering where we can fit them in and how fast,” he said.

Of course, there is no telling what these “plans” are or even if the unlikely duo will team up again.
However, we at least know that their stories are far from over.
So when will we see them again?
With Marvel Studios hard at work on the next Avengers saga, it is doubtful that we will see them before Avengers: Doomsday at least.

However, it would not be too far-fetched for Deadpool to at least appear in Spider-Man 4 considering he and Peter have regularly teamed up in the comics.
As for Wolverine, it remains to be seen how he will fit into the next phase but with a whole new fanbase thanks to Deadpool & Wolverine, his presence will be appreciated nonetheless.
