Marvel Studios is beginning to gear itself up for the introduction of the X-Men into the MCU, with many creatives noting that once the multiverse saga comes to an end, the mutant saga will begin.
This has been teased countless times throughout the MCU, as several mutant characters appeared in post-credit stings and cameos.

Those in the know will be aware that Wolverine’s skeleton is coated in adamantium, as the world’s strongest material, more so than even vibranium.
The mention comes from President Ross in Captain America: Brave New World as he says, “Adamantium… it’s more indestructible than Vibranium.”
This news comes via Twitter and fans are, understandably, excited by its inclusion.
“Make way! X Men Are Coming Baby!” exclaimed one Marvel fan.

It turns out, that massive Celestial stuck in the Earth, left over from the Eternals movie, is made of adamantium.
This could be a major plot point for Thunderbolts* which is due out later this year.
The future of the MCU is getting very exciting, with fans pointing out things they want to see now the metal has been found.
“I need a scene in Doomsday or Secret Wars where Wolverine scratches Cap's shield with his claws,” said one Twitter user.

“It’s all coming together,” said another.
The arrival of the mutants has been a long time coming, and adamantium has been under the rights of 20th Century Fox until only a few years ago.
With the introduction of the material, it’s not just Wolverine that will make an appearance, with other heroes and villains using the metal.
“I kinda like the idea of Wolverine being an immortal warrior crafted with the skin of the Gods. That's pretty metal,” comments one MCU fan, and we’d have to agree.
