Deadpool & Wolverine has been out for a while now and has recently landed on streaming services which has prompted fans to rewatch the summer blockbuster.
In one scene of the film, Deadpool finds himself in the TVA headquarters and sees footage of him in Thor’s arms while the Norse God cries.
Thunderbolts* is the next big MCU project for cinemas and will bring back some fan favourites
This sparked plenty of theories, including how Deadpool and Thor were in the same battle in the first place.

One Redditor has a very fun theory behind the footage.
DarthRamios posits, “The Avengers briefly encounter/meet Deadpool … But before they can get too familiar, the battle hits them and Deadpool takes the worst of the intial attack. Thor - in his infinite sympathy - tries to console/humor Deadpool as he thinks DP is dying.”
So far, typical Deadpool - gets into a fight and takes on everyone, to hell with the consequences.
The theory continues, “'Pool milks the misunderstanding for all it's worth to get misdirected affection from Thor before revealing that he can heal.”

Emplying laughing emojis, IrishElements comments, “yeah that tracks.”
Another Redditor takes it a step further, “I think deadpool explains a joke before his death which Thor laugh so much to the point he’s crying with laughter lmfao.”
Of course, there are a million possibilities behind this scene. It seems it was set up as a bit of fun and likely to watch as fans speculate.
That hasn’t stopped people having a bit of fun with the scene in question.

One user adds to theory with their comment, “Deadpool: "so this is what it feels like... juuuuust kidding" pops up”
It’s clear this is old footage from long ago in the MCU, but fans wonder if we’ll see more in the future, just to drag it out more.
No-Relation3504 says, “Honestly I could see this being a scene in Secret Wars where both Fox wolverine and Deadpool die and Thor is trying to comfort him as he’s dying since his healing powers is failing.”
