The demonic supervillain Mephisto might be finally coming to the Marvel Cinematic Universe, for real this time.
Wouldn’t be surprised if Marvel fans recoil at the name Mephisto after all the fan theories about him appearing in the MCU, but the next few MCU projects add a little more credibility to his inevitable big-screen debut.
Check out the trailer for Agatha All Along, out now on Disney+
If you don’t know who Mephisto is, he's basically the Marvel equivalent of Satan, a very powerful figure and also one of my mains in Marvel Super Heroes Vs Street Fighter.

He’s often seen in Marvel stories that involve the supernatural or magic users, so as you’d imagine whenever an MCU project gets a little bit spooky fans are adamant he’s going to be the one revealed to be pulling the strings.
However with Agatha All Along referencing a “black heart” multiple times in its first two episodes fans are confident this is the one where he’ll finally appear.
Blackheart in the Marvel canon is the son of Mephisto, usually seen going toe-to-toe with Ghost Rider.
He’s also yet to make his MCU debut, but if he’s at all involved in the events of Agatha All Along then there’s a pretty good chance his dad could appear as well, or at the very least be mentioned by name/alluded to.

As for what role Mephisto could play in the MCU there's quite a few, as while he’s not big enough to be one of the Avengers’ big bads, he isn’t really picky about which heroes he torments.
In all likelihood he’ll be a Doctor Strange villain at some point, but he could also be involved in whatever plotline is used to bring the Scarlet Witch back to life after her supposed death.
Hopefully he arrives sooner rather than later, if anything it’ll silence all the fan theories whenever a new MCU show comes out.
