A Marvel comic could be teasing the new Avengers in upcoming MCU movies and it’s been right under our noses.
2012’s Avengers Assemble is one of the MCU biggest movies of all time featuring some of the galaxy's most devious enemies who we later learned were under the command of Thanos. The epic team originally consisted of Iron Man, Captain America, Thor, Black Widow and Hawkeye.

However, by the time we got to Avengers: Endgame in 2019, the team of Earth’s mightiest heroes wasn't quite the same and now we’re looking to the future of what superheroes will be teaming up to fight the good fight against the forces of evil, who we assume at this point is Doctor Doom.

As to who will be featured in the new Avengers, it’s complete guesswork. Yet, it seems that the potential Avengers cast may have been teased in a series that began in 2012 and was recently rebooted, as reported by Comicbook.com.
In Avengers Assemble #1 (2024), its front cover features Captain America, Shang-Chi, She-Hulk, Hawkeye, Monica Rambeau, Hercules, and Wonder Man. The latter two may be more unfamiliar, with Hercules briefly featuring in Thor: Love and Thunder and Wonder Man is yet to appear in an upcoming Disney Plus series.
So, other than featuring the Steve Rogers version of Captain America, Avengers Assemble #1 (2024) may be teasing the future of the MCU. While we should take this assumption with a pinch of salt, it’s not outside the realms of possibility that at some point, this concept could become a reality.
Also, let’s not forget that already established characters such as Thor, Hulk, The Marvels, Spider-Man and more will also very likely feature in a new iteration of the MCU’s Avengers.

Hopefully, all the pieces will begin to come together when Captain America: New World Order releases in cinemas in February 2025.
