Daredevil: Born Again will apparently go beyond the Netflix series in more ways than one according to the cast.
As far as I’m concerned, there is no Marvel Cinematic Universe, there’s only Daredevil: Born Again and I physically can’t wait for it to drop on Disney+ next year.
Also on the cards for Marvel is Captain America: Brave New World, which is coming out early next year
Daredevil is my number one favourite Marvel hero, I’ve been reading all of his comic runs, watched the Netflix series countless times and even pitched my own idea for a game based on the devil of Hell’s Kitchen.

With that in mind, I’m already enamoured by Daredevil: Born Again, even more so after what the cast has to say about it.
Jon Bernthal, who's returning to play Punisher for the first time in the MCU, recently spoke about the project at D23 alongside the rest of the cast.
He said: "I think if you're a fan of the show that you saw before, you're gonna be a fan of this. I think we're just taking it a step further … We're all here, we're all enormously happy to be with each other, we're proud of what we did. If you're a fan of [Marvel's Daredevil], you're gonna be enormously happy."
Kevin Feige followed up by saying, "In Daredevil: Born Again, we've channelled the essence of the original series but set an entirely new path for Matt Murdock and Wilson Fisk.”

Even Vincent D'Onofrio, who plays Wilson Fisk aka Kingpin, has expressed surprise at some of the scenes they were able to film, and if you’re familiar with the infamous car door scene from Daredevil’s first season, you’re probably eager to see how they could possibly top it.
Daredevil: Born Again is scheduled to arrive on Disney+ early into 2025, quite a while away but I’m positive it’ll be worth the wait.
