Uh oh. It appears that someone at Marvel Studios is going to be in serious trouble.
Next year will finally bring us a new Avengers instalment, Doomsday, with Robert Downey Jr. set to return to the MCU as Victor von Doom.
That aside, we don’t really know what Doomsday will bring us, or at least we didn’t until this weekend.

A number of pieces of concept art for the film surfaced online in recent days, with the website where the art was originally hosted having now been nuked.
They, unfortunately for Marvel, revealed quite a lot about the film - and I should stress that I’ll potentially be addressing spoilers from here on out, should the concept art prove to be accurate.
It appears that Battleworld will be given a medieval appearance, with several of the concept images sharing that theme.
In one, Doom is sat on a throne with Sue Storm standing nearby with the implication perhaps being that the two are married.

This image also features Strange as some kind of advisor or sheriff, with Yelena pictured as Doom’s paid muscle.
Daredevil: Born Again debuts tomorrow.
In another, it appears that Bruce Banner and Jennifer Walters are exploring a medieval village on Battleworld populated entirely by hulks.

There’s an image of Star Lord and White Vision watching TV on a couch, and another of Star Lord and Wong seemingly gathered with the Young Avengers including the likes of Wiccan and Ms Marvel.
Of course, I have to urge you to take all of these images with a pinch of salt as while it’s looking pretty likely that they are official, we can never be certain.
Even if they are real, there’s still uncertainty surrounding the art as it is, after all, a series of concepts.
Even still, that hasn’t stopped MCU fans from sharing their immense hype.

“Bruh f**k everyone who said Avengers: Doomsday was gonna be s**t because the Russo brothers are f**king cooking big time,” wrote Twitter user jonathanhouetw2.
“Medieval aesthetic for Avengers: Doomsday is peak,” added Fantastic 1309.
“I’m not saying Marvel is back .. but it looks like Marvel is back,” said shakesmangifera.
I have to say, I’m also pretty enthused by this concept art. I just hope Marvel doesn’t change direction if it’s accurate just because we’ve all now seen it.
