It matters little if you’re not interested in the Harry Potter reboot because HBO's series is continuing on without you.
In recent days, not only has the new Harry Potter adaptation found its new Snape, but there are also reports that the show will run for longer than anticipated.

As for who will play the iconic roles of Harry, Ron, and Hermione, that’s still yet to be determined.
That being said, a staggering 32,000 children have auditioned for these key Harry Potter roles.

Showrunner, Francesca Gardiner, revealed this to Deadline when briefly discussing the upcoming TV series.

Having “devoured” all seven of the books when she was a teenager, Gardiner clearly has enough passion to lead this enormous project.
At this moment in time, much of the news we’re receiving about the new show is speculation – without any confirmation from HBO, we have to take all casting information as little more than gossip.
Currently, the rumour is that HBO has found its actors to fill the lead roles, however, for some reason it's yet to announce it.
This could be due to the backlash that the series is facing because of the controversial update recently given regarding J.K. Rowling’s involvement in the show.

Or it could simply be that HBO hasn’t cast anyone yet and is still hard at work trying to find the perfect actors to play these parts.
Regardless of who’s been cast, if anyone, it’s evident that starring in the series is a highly sought after job.
Whoever stars in this series is destined to find themselves in the spotlight, more often than not when they don’t want to be.
Having learnt that 32,000 children have tried out for the three main characters, we’re curious to see who made the final cut.

Their lives are soon to change forever, after all.
