The Harry Potter universe is in for a massive refresh over the coming years as the HBO reboot TV show nears.
It has been 13 years since the last Harry Potter film was released, and fans have been itching for more from the wizarding world.
Hogwarts Legacy will be getting a sequel, coming in a few years.
In comes HBO, who will be overseeing a complete reboot of the property, filming the books from the start with an all new cast.

According to Collider, a release window has been set for the show, despite us knowing nothing else about it, including who will play the three heroes.
The new show is eyeing a debut for 2027, giving the creators a few more years to pin down who will play Harry, Hermione, Ron, and the teachers of Hogwarts.
Of course, it’s a huge undertaking to film this show - I’m already assuming they’re planning ahead with the cast to keep them looking like school kids - and the team will be starting with the first book.
Very little is known about the project, as HBO is keeping things tightly under wraps.

All we do know is that the show is scheduled to cover each book in the series, whether that’s one season per book is anyone’s guess.
Casting has been taking place, but we’re all still holding on for news on who will put on the glasses and face off against Voldemort.
This isn’t the only big news in the world of Harry Potter.
Fans of Hogwarts Legacy will be getting a follow-up game in the form of a sequel that could potentially be set in the modern day.

This, of course, all adds to the Warner Bros push to continually bring new Harry Potter moments and memories to the fandom, including new theme parks and behind-the-scenes attractions.
If you’re a fan of the boy wizard, you’re in for a great few years.
