
Buffy the Vampire Slayer star, Michelle Trachtenberg has passed away at just 39 years old and fans have been paying tribute to the tragic loss.
Born on 11 October 1985 in New York City, the death of Michelle Trachtenberg was confirmed yesterday 26 February 2025. The actress is perhaps best known for playing Buffy Summers’ sister Dawn, in the hit TV show from 2000 to 2003.

Michelle Trachtenberg also played Georgina Sparks in Gossip Girl, and various other TV productions as well as a role in the 2004 teen comedy movie, EuroTrip. The news of Trachtenberg’s passing was confirmed via ABC News and New York Post sources.

While the cause of Trachtenberg’s death is yet to be made public, no foul play is said to be suspected but it is reported that she had recently undergone a liver transplant.
At just 39 years old, that is no age to lose a life and fans of Michelle Trachtenberg have been paying tribute to the popular actress.

“Man, that’s horrible news. I was just talking about EuroTrip the other day and it will always be one of my favourites. RIP,” exclaimed xBtril responding to IGN.
