It’s hardly as if Spider-Man ever falls from favour but regardless, Spidey fans are feasting particularly well at this moment in time. Between Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 and Spider-Man: Across The Spider-Verse, it’s shaping up to be a monumental year for Marvel’s famous webslinger.
When it comes to Marvel’s Spider-Man 2, we finally received a release date at Geoff Keighley’s recent Summer Game Fest. The map is set to be twice as large as the one featured in the original game, plus we got to see some of Peter’s new symbiote suit abilities in a recent gameplay deep dive. Elsewhere, Across The Spider-Verse has been dazzling viewers. Did you know that the LEGO sequence was animated by a 14-year-old superfan, plus the epic massive chase sequence took a whopping four years to create. Today though, I bring you an amusing tidbit that comes courtesy of Tom Holland.
Take a look at Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 in action below.
Tom Holland, the MCU’s Spidey, featured alongside fellow Spider-Men Andrew Garfield and Tobey Maguire in Spider-Man: No Way Home - and in a recent interview, Tom revealed that the trio still keep in touch via a group chat with the best name. In an interview with The Hollywood Reporter, Tom opened up about the so-called Spider-Boys.

“It was wonderful,” Tom said of filming No Way Home. “Myself, Andrew, Tobey - we have this amazing bond as three people who have been through something that is so unique that we really are like brothers. We have a great group chat and we catch up every now and then. It’s called the Spider-Boys.”
The interviewer then asked what the last thing they spoke about was. Tom grabbed his phone, replying, “I was doing a charity event in London for the Brothers Trust and I was asking if they would be so kind as to sign a poster to auction off. They were obviously happy to oblige.” So wholesome.
