From The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt to Netflix’s The Witcher, we have met many different versions of Geralt of Rivia but The Witcher: The Edge of the World is about to add a different spin to him altogether.
It is hard to believe that Geralt of Rivia has existed in some form since 1993 with the release of The Last Wish, the first book in The Witcher fantasy novel series by Andrzej Sapkowski.
Check out the trailer for The Witcher season three below!
Since then, the formidable Witcher has gone on to feature in seven more major books, comics, video games and television shows and it seems as though we just can’t get enough of this fantasy world.

That is why fans are excited for The Witcher: The Edge of the World, an upcoming graphic novel inspired by an original short story by Sapkowski himself.
Set to release in December 2024, Dark Horse Books is set to bring out this hardcover graphic novel by writer Magdalena Salik, artist Tommaso Bennato, colourist Chris O'Halloran, with lettering by Hassan Otsmane-Elhaou.
The description for The Witcher: The Edge of the World reads as follows:
"Work is hard to come by for Geralt. And for his bardic traveling companion, Dandelion, the doldrum of the road is not a worthy subject for his rhymes or ballads."

"As they travel to the edge of the known world, townsfolk speak of many stories, but it seems that's all they are-recitals of monsters and superstition-until a man follows Geralt with news of a devil scavenging the local fields. Get rid of the beast, but under no circumstances is it to be killed. Only how can Geralt hunt the creature, when there are no such things as devils?"
The Edge of the World is the third entry in the short story collection by Dark Horse Books and will introduce Geralt of Rivia as fans of the games and Netflix show have never seen him before.
