However, with its developers hard at work on The Witcher 4 and Cyberpunk 2, it is up to the modding community to continue improving the 2015 title and that is what this one creator has managed.

Soulslike Combat is a brand-new The Witcher 3 mod which, as you guessed it, adds a more Soulslike style of combat to the game.
The mod is compatible with the recent next-gen update and it also comes with a showcase of what Geralt of Rivia is now capable of.
The accompanying video shows our Witcher practicing his moves on the riverside as he slashes and hacks his invisible target. The combat is much more fluid, combining spins, long lunges and stab attacks and is definitely reminiscent of Soulslike titles over the years.
The mod is free to download and add to The Witcher 3 now and although it is only a small change, it will make a dramatic improvement to the combat throughout the game.

This is just another mod that has come off the back of CD Projekt Red’s official mod tools that were released last month. Since then, there have been updates to graphics, The Witcher imported maps and so much content we can’t keep up.
If you can’t wait for The Witcher 4, this next-gen overhaul for The Witcher 3 is guaranteed to give you a sneak peek at what the next entry in the much-loved series could look like.
