The first full trailer for Stranger Things 4 has finally arrived, promising the biggest and most ambitious run of episodes for the hit Netflix show yet.
The beloved supernatural series heads back to Netflix in two parts this year, with the first batch of adventures set to debut on May 27. The second lot of episodes will air shortly after that, on July 1.
Take a look at the latest trailer below!
“It’s been six months since the Battle of Starcourt, which brought terror and destruction to Hawkins. Struggling with the aftermath, our group of friends are separated for the first time – and navigating the complexities of high school hasn’t made things any easier," reads the official synopsis for part one of season four.

“In this most vulnerable time, a new and horrifying supernatural threat surfaces, presenting a gruesome mystery that, if solved, might finally put an end to the horrors of the Upside Down.”
Stranger Things creators The Duffer Brothers confirmed in an open letter to fans that the fourth season is so stupendously big that they decided to release "Part One" earlier so they can work on finishing up "Part Two" while we're all busy with the first batch of episodes.
The duo also confirmed that the show is getting a fifth and final season, which will bring the current characters' stories to an end. With that said, the letter did suggest there are "many more exciting stories to tell within the world of Stranger Things," which sounds very much like we're getting a few spinoff shows, doesn't it?
Stranger Things season four actually started filming back in 2020, but COVID-related setbacks kept getting in the way of production. At last, we're mere weeks away from finally seeing new episodes.
