Starfield just came to the very last platform we expected

Starfield just came to the very last platform we expected

It's time to get comfy

Bethesda’s latest RPG Starfield may have only previously been available to play on Xbox and PC but thanks to a collaboration between Microsoft and Amazon, that is about to change.

Released a year ago next week, Starfield is Bethesda’s latest RPG and this time we were headed for space as an explorer on a mission to uncover ancient artefacts.

Check out our review for Starfield below!

Originally released on the Xbox Series X/S and PC, Starfield has not always been available on many platforms.

However, thanks to Microsoft launching its Xbox TV app on select Amazon Fire TV devices last month, Starfield can now be accessed on a platform we least expected.

The service allows Xbox Game Pass Ultimate subscribers to stream any Xbox game on their TVs.

Although the brand-new app was originally only available on select Fire TV sticks, it has now been made compatible for older versions as well as the first-generation Fire TV Stick 4K Max and the third-generation Fire TV Cube.

This is on top of the previously compatible models: the Fire TV 4K Max (2023) and Fire TV Stick 4K (2023).

So as long as the user has access to the Fire TV Stick or Fire TV Cube and a Bluetooth-enabled game controller, they will be able to stream any Xbox title from their TV, including Starfield.

As well as Starfield, players can also access the following games on TV: Forza Horizon 5, Fallout 4, Fallout 76 and Senua’s Saga: Hellblade II to name a few.

Not only that but players can also use the Xbox Wireless Controller, Xbox Adaptive Controller, Sony DualSense, and DualShock 4.

All you have to do to be eligible (other than own any of the aforementioned devices) is be an Xbox Game Pass Ultimate subscriber and download the Xbox app on your chosen device.
