One Starfield fan has decided they should give away a Premium Edition of Bethesda's outer-space RPG to fellow gamers, for no other reason than to share the love.
There's already a certain whiff of toxicity around Starfield, through no fault of the developers or vast majority of fans. Most are simply excited to see a huge single-player RPG coming to Xbox after years of watching PlayStation get in all the celebrated exclusives.
But there are, of course, PlayStation fanboys who are campaigning against the game at every turn, and Xbox elitists who aren't doing themselves or their community any favours by acting out.

It's a real treat, then, to be able to focus on something positive for a change. Over on the game's official subreddit one user has announced they'll be giving a way for a code of Starfield's Premium Edition (that includes early access and DLC) at random to one lucky fan.
"I have an extra Starfield premium code and I am looking to give it away to a member of the community here," writes pdrent1989. "I will choose one comment at random in the next 24 hours to receive the code. Please make a top level comment to be entered. I did clear this with the mods so good luck to everyone!"

This giveaway is for PC only, to be clear, and our hero will choose a winner today at 9pm. I should also note that the post has been gotten thousands of responses already, so the odds of you being the lucky pick are slim. Still, it can't hurt to try.
Starfield launches for Xbox Series X/S and PC later today, and doubtless there'll be plenty of discussion around reviews and criticism. Let's all try and remember to treat each other with respect and just have fun then, yeah? Yeah.
