There are already hundreds, if not thousands, of hours tucked away in Stardew Valley for would be farmers to happily while away their lives.
Developer, ConcernedApe has put in so much work, included a wealth of things to do, that you could play Stardew Valley for several hours a day and not run out of tasks for weeks.
Stardew Valley has a dedicated mod community, constantly expanding the game
And yet, modders are still toiling away on more content than you can shake a rake at.

One such expansion, created by a dedicated community creator, is only a little expansion. A ‘mini-expansion,’ in fact.
The Canyons, will expand the game, adding in a brand-new desert themed map, along with a few new events for Sandy.
Meant for players in the late game, The Canyons will require players to have access to certain items, usually found in the latter stages of their farming career.
If you’re thinking of jumping on this expansion, you’ll need to meet three requirements; the bus to the desert must be unlocked, four-hearts or more with Sandy, and it is 9:00 PM or later.

Once you’re in the new desert area, you’ll have access to a new crop, vendor, and an animal for your barn.
There are even new artisan goods, and some baking recipes to complete.
As the title suggests, this is only a small update, intended to bring a different biome into the mix, but players should enjoy what it brings to the table.
Players are already finding this mod “delightful” and other creators are hard at work translating it into other languages, for more farmers to enjoy.

If you want to spoil the rewards received for yourself, before you install the mod, the creator has broken down everything you can find on the mod page.
This is intended for PC players only, and it has been tested with several other mods to ensure compatibility.
