Sometimes we dream about video games that we may never see and sometimes, those dreams are turned into actual concepts and it pains us furthermore of what could be.
One such concept is The Mandalorian, the immensely popular bounty hunting/Din Grogu babysitting adventures on Disney+ and now that I’ve seen this very concept, it’s a video game that I want now more than ever. So make it happen, you cowards!

The Mandalorian concept in question has been created by GavMakesGames, and just wow! The dream game is called The Mandalorian: Way of the Warrior and so far, an in-game screenshot has been created, as well as a customisation screen and settings. Heck, a working main menu screen has also been brought to life.

I truly am in total awe and it pains me that I can’t play this game. So, please, someone, make it happen? Disney, Lucasfilm and the powers that be, get on it, already! In fact, there are some developers that would love nothing more than to bring this concept to life.

Back in 2020, God of War (2018) director, Cory Barlog admitted that he’d love to make a game inspired by The Mandalorian.”If someone isn’t working on a great single-player Mandalorian game where you play a bounty hunter flying your ship from system to system picking up bounties, upgrading your Beskar armour and getting into adventures then I really don’t know what the hell we are doing here,” he tweeted.
Barlog continued: “And by great single player I mean a strong focus on character development with relatable human triumphs, losses + seemingly impossible decisions to wrestle with. Not just shooting, but surviving - both physically and emotionally. though I would hope the shooting would be fun.”
What’s more, the following year, Cory Barlog then teased the possibility of working on a Mandalorian game, sending social media into a frenzy. If there’s one studio that I’d love to see develop such a game, it would be Santa Monica Studio.
Hopefully, the powers that be will one day see the light and give us The Mandalorian game that we crave. That’s unless someone is already working on it.
