Ah, Skyrim, the fantasy RPG that will seemingly never die (which we’re happy about by the way) and this ever-popular game is about to get even bigger in 2025.
To say that The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim is the gift that keeps on giving would be somewhat of an understatement. Released originally in 2011 for PC, PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360, Skyrim has continually proven to be so popular that so far, Bethesda has released it in every console generation since.

Other than being a fantastic game with a wonderful sense of adventure, one of the main reasons why Skyrim remains so popular today is due to its vibrant modding community and a mod that’s arriving next year, could very well be one of the best and biggest yet.

As brought to our attention by PCGamesN, a sure-to-be epic mod called ‘Lordbound’ for Skyrim promises to bring over 60 hours of new content at launch with more than 40 new quests, and over 50 dungeons and will be available via moddb.com. What’s more, ‘Lordbound’ will feature a unique soundtrack, new fully-voiced NPCs and a new region called Druadach.
“The drums of war are beating inside the Druadach Valley. After two hundred years of isolation, the valley has restored its severed connections to the provinces of Skyrim and High Rock, exposing its withered remains to the rest of Tamriel,” reads the synopsis of the mod.
“Chief Gorek of Garshakur refuses to surrender his mountain fortress to the Imperial Legion, denying them control of the highly-valued trade route between the cities of Jehanna and Solitude. As the war wages on, the people of Druadach are forced to seek protection within the walls of Highreach, home of the young Lord Haelan - but even the last bastion of Druadach is threatening to fall at the hands of a mysterious knight of unknown origin, leaving only death in its wake.”
Sadly, unlike many Skyrim mods, ‘Lordbound’ will only be available for the PC version of the game, however, ‘Lordbounds is currently scheduled to be released in March 2025. The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim is out now on PC, PlayStation, Xbox and Nintendo Switch.
