Fans of The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim are well aware the game is already pretty massive, with a vast number of quests and places to explore.
As development for the game ended so long ago, it’s up to the modders and community creators to keep the torch burning and provide new content for Skyrim.
Countless mods and expansions are available for Skyrim
One big fan-made expansion that was initially planned for release this month, has unfortunately been pushed back to September, but things are still looking great.

Lordbound is a “massive story-focused expansion for Skyrim with 60+ hours of original content, adding 40+ new quests, 50+ dungeons and a new landmass to explore!”
Unfortunately, as with many of these projects, delays can happen because they’re often made up of volunteer coders, writers, and designers who are working on mods in their spare time.
The lead on this project took to ModDB with an update, saying, “we will not be able to meet our March release date. This news is as disappointing to us as it is for you, but the volatility of volunteer efforts combined with health issues.”
However, the project is still coming along nicely, and promises a wealth of things to do in Tamriel when it launches.

One of the most recent updates for the mod showcases new creatures designed and developed by the team, which will provide new beasties to hunt down.
There will also be a few unique bosses coming to the expansion.
The team is on the lookout for voice actors and coders to help the expansion meet its new launch date of September, so you could be a part of this massive project.
The new story content sounds great, with a war brewing in the Druadach Valley, familial mysteries to be explored, and new lands to trek, all while assisting in the ongoing war.
