Red Dead Redemption 3 is still quite a hot topic at the moment, but let’s remember that Arthur Morgan’s story is finished as far as Roger Clark is concerned.
Rockstar Games is currently hard at work on GTA VI, of which a second trailer is due any day now supposedly, but there’s no guarantee of it dropping before the end of the year without the developer’s confirmation.
See the first trailer for GTA VI below.
While it’ll likely be one of the biggest video game launches that’s ever been, prompting many workers to take the day off to play it, would you believe me if I said some fans just want Red Dead Redemption 3 instead?

It’s not hard to see why as Red Dead Redemption 2 was a 10/10 masterpiece that deserved every award it received, and given the game’s success, it feels like a no-brainer that Rockstar Games should do a sequel.
Arthur Morgan’s actor Roger Clark has commented on a third game in the past, like in a tweet which read, “I’m certain we will see RDR3 one day. When that will be - I have absolutely no idea. Don’t count on Arthur’s involvement either. His story has been told, I feel.”
Clark is still pretty adamant that Arthur’s role in the story is done, but that hasn’t stopped fans from pondering ways he could return.
"Save this tweet now. RDR3, we will play as Hosea starting the gang with Dutch and we will see Arthur again and play him in the epilogue," said one fan.

"Nah, they could just make it a prequel again and have young John and young Arthur be switchable playable characters," added another.
All of this is wishful thinking at the moment though as we don’t even know if Rockstar believes there’s more story to tell.
If anything, Red Dead Redemption 3 could be the start of a different series entirely similar to how Red Dead Redemption was a successor to Red Dead Revolver.
