Red Dead Redemption fans are torn as to whether Sadie Adler should be the lead in the next game in the series from Rockstar Games.
Alongside the goliath that is the Grand Theft Auto series, the Wild West shenanigans of Red Dead Redemption is Rockstar Games' other popular property and as much as we can't wait for GTA VI, we want RDR3 just as much.
Check out the Red Dead Redemption 2 trailer below!
Red Dead Redemption 2 is the prequel to the game that was originally released in 2010 on PC, PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 starring John Marston, trying to escape the clutches of his former gang led by Dutch van der Linde.

However, in Red Dead Redemption 2, you play as Arthur Morgan, a leading member of the aforementioned gang featuring John Marston, trying to escape the law following the infamous Blackwater heist.
There are a lot of interesting supporting characters in the Dutch van der Linde gang such as the skin-crawling Micah Bell, Horsea Matthews, Charles Smith and Abigail Roberts to name a few.
Another interesting and popular character is Sadie Adler, a loyal friend of Arthur Morgan and one Red Dead Redemption fan in particular thinks that she might be a good shout to be the leading character in the next game.
“RDR3 - What if we played as Sadie Adler?” asked LilFern3466. “The end of RDR2 left Sadie Adler's fate up to speculation, and I loved her presence in the game and how fond she grew of Arthur.”

They continued: “A quick search on Google suggests that Sadie may have left for South America after the ending of RDR2. What do you guys think about this idea, or at least, what do you think happened to her?”

“Sadie is great but I don’t think there’s enough story there for a whole new Red Dead Redemption game, single-player DLC would’ve worked,” replied a Reddit user. “If they ever make another Red Dead game, I hope they move on from the Dutch van der Linde gang.”
“What about a game that focused on Adler’s years as a bounty hunter between 1890-1907?” suggests Willian_Elson.
“No, we need a Western game that’s actually IN prime Western times. And no, not a prequel of Dutch and co,” exclaims sleepy-floyd-is-goat.
At the time of writing, Red Dead Redemption 3 hasn't been announced by Rockstar Games but it will most likely arrive long after GTA VI, which is currently scheduled to be released in late 2025.
