One dedicated fan has taken on the gargantuan task of remodelling and expanding one of Red Dead Redemption 2’s states, in a bid to make Rockstar Games’ cowboy shooter a little more eco-friendly.

Have you ever found yourself walking around Lemoyne and thought to yourself “damn, this place is ugly”? Do you wish it had, oh let’s say… fifty times more trees? Maybe a random beach or two?

Well then, it’s your lucky day, because I have a Red Dead Redemption 2 mod for you that does just that.

Lemonye Enhanced and Restored is a brand new mod over on Nexus from mod author dutchvantahiti3 that aims to add “several things around lemonye, fully enhancing it out and remastering main locations among the state”.

According to the mod author, the mod adds a whole bunch of set dressing to the state, including “new trees, palm's around saint denis, flags and overhauls many area's in the state.”

Now, before you mention it, I will point out that the mod author has spelled “Lemoyne” wrong here, but don’t hold that against them too much (mostly because I am only just realising I’ve been spelling it wrong this entire time too).

If you do like the look of this one, I’d suggest pairing it with another one of dutchvantahiti3’s mods; Lemonye Camp (man, they’re really gonna kick themselves when they realise they spelled both of these wrong).

Lemonye Camp is a pretty simple mod that just adds a cute little cabin to the east of the state, near an old ruined cabin. It should pair nicely with all the brand-new palm trees that line the area.

Here’s hoping there’s a way to edit the titles of mods after they go up on Nexus though, or else nobody is going to be able to search for any of these if they spell Lemoyne correctly…
