Grand Theft Auto VI is finally set to land this year.

But if you’re itching for a Rockstar Games fix before then, you may want to hop into the studio’s previous masterpiece, Red Dead Redemption 2.

Think you know everything there is to see and do in the game?

Well, you might do. But I’m going to do my best to try and impress you with something new because the truth is, for the average player, it’s unlikely that every stone has gone unturned.

Today I come to you with a handy money exploit that’ll make you rich fast, and it’s one you can take advantage of pretty rapidly to set yourself up nicely in the game.

While you’re here, enjoy some of our favourite wins and fails.

This tip comes from Reddit user tom_tofurkey who had this to say: “The Van Horn mansion glitch still works. Enter the mansion, go downstairs and kill the bandits, collect the $50 off the table, then immediately make a save.”

He continued, “Reload that save and you’ll spawn outside the mansion, repeat. It’s slow, since the reload will take a couple minutes. But the bandits can also spawn wearing the High Hat, which is collectible.”

“Don't do a mission it will mess up the glitch,” added ImpossibleCurrent335.

Of course, those who have played the game will know that by the end, you’ll naturally have racked up way more money than you could possibly spend, but you can understand why new players want to stack up their coffers ASAP.

I’m sure, like me, you’re wondering whether there’s going to be another Red Dead, whether that’s Red Dead Redemption 3 or something more standalone and akin to Red Dead Revolver.

It seems abundantly clear that the series can’t go any further forward in time otherwise the Wild West stops being, well, wild.

But it feels as if we’ve explored all of the major trials of the Van Der Linde gang.

My take? Remain in the height of the Wild West but centre the story around entirely new characters.

With Rockstar likely remaining focused solely on GTA VI though for several years, assuming that a PC port and online mode are on the way, I doubt we’ll hear anything regarding a new instalment anytime soon.
