Red Dead Online, meanwhile, has been offered, well, crumbs.
The game’s Halloween update has landed and while it’s not going to blow your stetson away, it’s better than nothing.

I want to predominantly draw your attention to the fact that a new limited-time event is now underway which could see you bag a nice freebie.

From today until 21 October, you can also secure red Strickland Boots by winning in the Featured Series, so you don’t have too long to act.
This week’s Featured Series marks the return of Fear of the Dark, but this time in a new ‘Hardcore’ iteration.
From 22 to 28 October, players will then be able to complete a Moonshiner Sale to nab 40% off a poncho, whilst from 29 October to 4 November, reaching Wave Five in All Hallows’ Call to Arms will reward players with the black Concho Pants.
All players who log in between 29 October and 4 November will also qualify for the free black Folwell Hat.

Elsewhere in the game, there are three new Bodyguard Telegram Missions, double rewards on that aforementioned All Hallows’ Call to Arms, Moonshiners bonuses, plus you can nab a Halloween Pass.
Finally, this month’s community-inspired outfit was created by YouTuber xXx Queen Inferno xXx and includes a horror mask, Caugherty Shirt, Lotte Cap Sleeve Blouse, Penstick Pants, and Hitched Skirt.
Happy haunts, my friends.
