Red Dead Redemption 2 ranks as one of the greatest games ever made, in spite of the entire story experience being a sequence of tragedies.

Though, it is arguable that the quiet moments of Red Dead Redemption 2 become even more beautiful in contrast to the constant struggle for peace. John Marston and Mac Callander were seriously injured, with the latter eventually succumbing to his wounds, Sean MacGuire was captured by bounty hunters, and apparently Dutch shot an innocent woman in the head. The sum had to be hidden with the location only known to Dutch and Hosea Matthews as the gang escaped to the mountains to evade the law enforcement.
