Called Rainbow Six Siege X, it’s currently unclear if this will be a direct sequel, or an overhaul of the game, much like other live-service games have been receiving in this generation of consoles.
Ubisoft is only teasing us at the moment, with a full reveal coming via a ‘R6 Siege X Showcase’ on 13 March.
The teaser video shows a long corridor being blown to pieces by several breaching explosions before a large red ‘X’ is displayed.
Nothing else is shown, though what we do see displays a visual overhaul, possibly from a new engine powering the game.
